FAQs

What does your insurance cover?

Our insurance will cover the caravan anywhere in Australia in case of an insurable event, Insurable events are motor vehicle accidents and/or complete loss of the caravan, it will not cover negligent or miss use or loss of personal effects. Our excess is $5000 this covers not only the excess we pay out but also the lost income for the time it takes to repair or replace the caravan. We do offer a excess reduction fee on a per day basis that will reduce the excess to $1500 for an insurable event. We require you to have comprehensive insurance for your vehicle as our insurance does not cover your vehicle.

All our caravans have 12 pin flat plugs, we can provide a adapta for most plug types but you must have a minimum 7 pin plug and EBC

What will my standard 7 pin trailer plug run?

The 7 pin plug will run the road lights and trailer brake.

To have the fridge work while you are driving you will need a 12pin plug.

There is a solar panel that will keep the van battery charged, this battery will run the internal lights and other 12v things but not the fridge.

If you are not staying at powered sites the fridge can be run from gas. But it can not be run on gas while you are driving.

You will only need a 12 pin plug if you want to run the fridge while driving
